Family getaway with mixed results

That manager really went above and beyond despite the power being out due to that hurricane they told us about. Even with all the chaos, the customer service was exceptional and you know how rare that is these days.

Wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

Staying here with my fiancé was a fun experience, especially visiting Tybee Island. The beach had beautiful sandy shores where we spent time walking, playing in the waves, and enjoying the stunning sunset. The room was clean and comfortable, making it a cozy place to relax after our adventures.

My wife says that the hotel could improve family amenities. Checking in took longer than expected, and a pool would really enhance the experience for families with children.

One uncomfortable moment happened when a guy approached me in the parking lot asking personal questions while I was carrying bags. It felt sketchy, so I recommend parking near the front. Just keep your guard up, and you'll be fine.

But hold on, the room was a trip. A strong sewage smell in the bathroom was a real party pooper, and I was jolted awake by the lawnmower at 7 AM. Honestly, could use a roll of finesse here.

I also found some issues with the bathroom, including a toilet seat that shifted with movement, which wasn’t the most pleasant experience. Overall, while nothing was intolerable, it felt like room maintenance could use a little more attention.

the sleep inn had a very clean lobby upon check-in, which set the tone for our stay. the parking was super convenient and the check-in staff was great! it's close to everything, making it a handy spot. loved the breakfast options too!
